Account Deletion Policy
We understand that you may wish to delete your Questionnaire account. This policy explains the process, what happens to your data, and the implications of account deletion.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account deletion at any time through your account settings by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Alternatively, you can contact our support team at support@questionnaire.com with your deletion request. We will process your request within 30 days of receipt. Before proceeding, please ensure you have downloaded any data or content you wish to retain, as deletion is permanent.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal information including your name, email, phone number, and profile details. All content you created, including uploaded documents, questions, exams, and categories will be permanently deleted. Your exam results and participation records will also be removed. This process is irreversible, and we cannot recover your data once deletion is complete.
Deletion Timeframe
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible. After the 30-day grace period, if you do not cancel your deletion request, all your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. You can cancel your deletion request by contacting support before the grace period ends.
Data Retention for Legal Compliance
While we delete most of your data immediately, we may retain certain information for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes. This may include transaction records, support communications, and data required for compliance with applicable laws. Such data is kept secure and used only for the specific purposes for which it is retained, typically for a period of 7 years or as required by law.
Impact After Account Deletion
After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access any of your exams, questions, or content. Any shared exams will become inaccessible to participants. If you were part of an organization or shared resources with other users, those connections will be severed. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again in the future, and you will not be able to recover any previously deleted data.
